2024 SPRING TRAINING for UPCOMING MIDGETS
Dates: 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/19: 3:00-5:00 pm
Location: Cedar Cliff Stadium
*Open to all upcoming Midget-aged players (12-14) from any association.*
FOOTBALL PRACTICE TIMES: Starting Monday, July 29, 2024 football practice will be Monday - Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Starting August 26, practice will be Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
CHEER PRACTICE TIMES: Starting Monday July 29, 2024 cheer will practice Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs 6pm-8pm. Once school starts practices will change to Tues and Thurs 6pm-8pm.
GAME DAYS: Game days will be Saturday or Sunday depending on who we play (mostly Sundays). Our Junior Varsity teams always play on Saturdays. Typical games run a maximum of 1 1/2 hours, although Smurfs play for only an hour. Sunday homes games typically start at 12 pm for Smurfs and run until the Ponies are finished. For Saturday games, be sure to check the specific schedule.
FOOTBALL AGE REQUIREMENTS:
*age as of April 30*
Smurfs: 5 to 7-years-old
Peewee: 8 & 9-years-old
Pony: 10 & 11-years-old
Midget: 12 & 14-years-old
CHEERLEADER AGE REQUIREMENTS:
*by grade*
Smurfs: Kindergarten & 1st grade
Peewees: 2nd & 3rd grade
Ponies: 4th & 5th grade
Midgets: 6th 7th & 8th grade
REGISTRATION FEES:
$ 85.00 ending July 20th for first child / $ 45.00 for each additional capping at 3 children - there will be a $20.00 late fee after 7/20/2024
Mandatory fundraiser buyout in lieu of meeting required sales:
$ 100.00 first child and $50.00 each additional - capped after 3 children.
Mandatory volunteer service or buyout in lieu of volunteering: $ 100.00 per family. Examples of volunteer opportunities can be found here.
If you feel as though you may qualify for hardship assistance, and you reside within West Shore School District, please reach out to Roxanne Lehman to discuss further. (Personal items are not covered by hardships)
COLTS BOARD MEETINGS: Meetings are open to the public and generally held at 7:00 PM on the second Thursday of each month. Check out our About Section for up-to-date time, dates, and locations

May 9th – May 23rd - Board Sub/Pretzel Sale (delivery is June 4th at 5pm at Memorial Field Pavillion - if interested In purchasing any, contact Roxanne @ ncsroxie65@aol.com . Order Forms are available on the website under document tab.
June 4th – Thursday – Sub sale delivery at Memorial Pavillion from 5 – 6:30.
June 15th – Saturday - Registration from 10 am – 12 pm at Memorial Field near concession. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate if they are new to our organization.
July 20th – Saturday – Registration from 9 am – 12 pm at Memorial Field near concession. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate if they are new to our organization. Registration will shut down at 10 pm and reopen Sunday 7/21 at 2 pm with a $20.00 late charge.
July ?h – Please avoid the chaos at uniform handout and register online early. We are utilizing the same online registration system as last year meaning you still have to register your athlete yourself. The online registration accepts credit card payments and checks but if you want to pay with cash or money order, you must contact Roxanne @ ncsroxie65 or text at 717-805-4838 for a code prior to attempting to register, then the code can be entered at checkout and payment must be made promptly to complete registration and for your athlete to be rostered and fitted.
July 22nd-July 24th Football Camp at New Cumberland Boro Park (unless Twilight is done at Memorial Field)

July 29th – August 30th - Football Practice Monday – Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Cheer Practice is Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Please note: The first week or two will most likely be at Boro Park while Twilight Baseball finishes their regular season and tournament. Afterwards, everyone will be at Memorial Field – we will keep you posted.
July 29th– Team Fundraiser Handout. Mandatory Parents meetings at 7:15 at the pavilion near football practice if at Boro, or on bleachers if at Memorial by chance.
August 19th – Pictures – Memorial Field – More info TBA.
August 10th – 10/10 with ?. More info TBA
August 13th – Fundraiser orders with payments or fundraiser buyouts - if not paid already – are due to concession. Delivery is Tuesday September 17th.

September 1st – New Cumberland Colts @ Waynesboro Stallions (Sunday) – 11:00 am start. (Sunday)
